2048 Deluxe

My humble remake of the original 2048 game by Gabriele Cirulli. "Deluxe version" with four game variants and full support for desktop and mobile play.

Game Objective

• Slide numbered tiles on the grid to combine matching numbers.
• Create tiles with increasingly higher values by merging identical tiles.
• Reach the target number (varies by game variant) to win:
  • Mini: Target tile is 128 on a 3x3 grid.
  • Easy: Target tile is 1024 on a 4x4 grid.
  • Classic: Target tile is 2048 on a 4x4 grid.
  • Extended: Target tile is 4096 on a 5x5 grid.

• Select different game variants from the title screen for different challenges.

Controls

• Desktop:
  • Use Arrow keys (↑, ↓, ←, →) to slide tiles in any direction.
• Mobile/Touch Devices:
  • Swipe up, down, left, or right to slide tiles.

Game Rules

1. Game starts with two tiles (usually 2's) on the grid.
2. When you make a move, all tiles slide in that direction until they hit the wall or another tile.
3. When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one tile with double the value.
4. After each move, a new tile (2 or 4) appears in an empty space.
5. Game continues until you:
   • Reach the target tile and win.
   • Board is filled with no valid moves left and you lose.

Top Tip

• Try to keep your highest value tiles in a corner.
