How to play "King Tut's Tomb"
Pyramid solitaire is one of the easiest card solitaire games to learn and play. This is definitely suitable for children, and after a memory game or "Aces Up!" solitaire, this might well be a first or second "real card game".
Pyramid Layout
At the start of the game, 28 cards are dealt face-up into a pyramid shape with 7 rows. Only exposed cards (those without any cards covering them) can be selected.
Card Values
Ace = 1, 2-10 = their face value, Jack = 11, Queen = 12, King = 13.
Kings are special: Since their value is 13, you can remove them without needing to pair them with another card.
Pairing Cards
Select two cards that add up to 13 (e.g., a 7 and a 6) to remove them from the pyramid.
You can pair cards from the pyramid or match a pyramid card with the top card of the wastepile.
Stockpile and Wastepile
If no more moves are possible in the pyramid, draw a card from the stockpile by clicking on it. The drawn card will go to the wastepile.
You can use the top card of the wastepile to pair with cards in the pyramid.
Drawing Cards
You can choose to draw either 1 card or 3 cards at a time from the stockpile.
Select your preferred draw amount at the start of the game on the title screen.
Move wastepile
After the stockpile is empty, you can move the wastepile back into the stockpile two times.
Click on the empty stockpile to move the wastepile back to the stockpile.
Winning the Game
You win the game when you successfully remove all cards from the pyramid.
Losing the Game
The game ends when:
The stockpile is redealed twice. There are no more valid moves left in the pyramid or between the pyramid and wastepile.
Have fun playing! ☺️
